Since 2024 Alle due corti opens its doors to those wanting to experience a Cooking Class in Lecce.

We offer an intense, convivial experience in a space designed specifically for Cooking Classes in Lecce and Salento cuisine, enriched by Alle due corti’s style of culture, tradition, and familial warmth.

The day begins with handmade pasta. With Giorgio’s guidance, guests get hands-on learning to make fresh orecchiette and much more. It’s a time for chatting and joking in a cozy, familial atmosphere.

Our workbench, made of fine durmast oak and iron and nearly 4 meters long, is perfect for rolling out handmade pasta. This spacious and inviting table allows students to work together comfortably and joyfully, turning each moment into a shared experience. Situated in a typical Lecce room with star vaulted ceilings, overlooking one of the most charming squares in the city, it provides the perfect setting for a truly memorable experience.

Next, students move to the kitchen, where they cook seasonal dishes selected by Giorgio and the class. Starting from fresh ingredients, they recreate famous recipes from our Salento and Italian tradition.

NB: Our Cooking Classes do not include a market visit; the entire experience takes place within Alle due corti, in the heart of Lecce’s historic center. We prefer to focus entirely on the preparations, the stories related to the food, and the study of the recipes.”

All the vegetables and produce are already in our kitchen. Students can choose what they need for the recipe directly from our pantry.
